The Brief

We created a pair of videos for the 4TheRegion covering the It’s Your Swansea event. 4TheRegion are all about creating partnerships and bringing people together to learn about the impact that is being made in the Swansea Bay region.

4The Region host four conferences throughout the year as part of the It’s Your County partnership covering the conferences in Swansea, Neath & Port Talbot, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire and each all play an important role in growing business in across the Swansea Bay area and highlighting work that the respective councils are doing.

The Process

The It’s Your County partnerships are hugely important events across the Swansea Bay region with several high-profile individuals speaking of how much they enjoy these events for educational and interactive reasons. There are four conferences throughout the year covering the It’s Your conferences in Swansea, Neath & Port Talbot, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire and each all play an important role in growing business in across the Swansea Bay area and highlighting work that the respective councils are doing.

During our first video we demonstrated that there was great enthusiasm around Swansea for these events. They provided an opportunity for people to learn more about the work going on to improve the area and provide opportunities for people to learn about others as we were able to demonstrate the networking aspect of the event. There were some key messages highlighted during the first film such as providing opportunities for young people and trying to sell Swansea as a city in which people can look to do and start up their own business and getting support from companies and individuals to get this message across.

In the second video we completed focused more on individual stories by covering some of the speakers at the event where each looked at what is being done in the area as well as promoting business in the areas covered as part of the event. During this video many highlighted how beneficial the event had been in regards to connecting people and enabling both collaboration and self-empowerment. There were a range of inspiring stories that we captured during the event as well as other important messages.

The Result

The films managed to capture the positive nature of the gatherings that 4TheRegion were extremely happy with the quality of the films and what we captured. 4The Region have always placed great importance on these events as opportunities to demonstrate what is being done in the area and what is on the agenda going forward.

We were very happy with how the event went and our film represented exactly what 4TheRegion are all about in terms of growing recognition of the Swansea Bay region and providing opportunities in exciting industries.
