The Brief

We were asked to create a short film for Ticketsolve for their London Workshop. In order to highlight what their workshops include we felt that the best way to do this would be to get interviews from those involved and also caption part of the event to demonstrate the culture at these events and the environment that they fostered.

Ticketsolve as a company have always been about simplifying how your business functions and bringing organisation to your business. The individuals in the company have built on their experiences in the industry to understand what people are looking for in regards to organising your business.

The Process

For our film we looked to highlight what people found positive about the workshops. We also looked at how they have been beneficial to those involved and what they have taken away after attending the workshop.

We felt the best way to document the Ticketsolve London Workshop was by adopting a blend of both interviews with people reflecting on their experiences and what they will take going forward from attending these events. We also captured a variety of shots that caught the culture of the workshop and how people are offering advice and the friendly and welcoming nature on show at these events.

We looked to document several different reasons behind why people were at the Ticketsolve workshop and managed to gather several different perspectives as to why people were at the workshop and managed to list a range of significant benefits people have seen from attending the event and noting that they would certainly look to return in the future.

One of the main positives we saw from our interviews was the networking opportunities that are provided and that they were a great way to meet new people that rely on Ticketsolve for how their businesses function. These events also provided the opportunity to chat to others about their own experiences and to learn off other people.

From the people we spoke to, one thing we highlighted was the variety of guests with some being regular attendees at Ticketsolve events with others stating that it was their first time attending one of these events and wanted to get to know and speak to new people who use Ticketsolve.

We also captured the calm and chilled nature of the workshops and they can typically be enjoyed by just talking to people as well as having presentations on Ticketsolve and address any questions that others at the event may have.

The Result

In conclusion we managed to highlight the positive impact that the networking events are having in regards to providing opportunity, expanding people’s knowledge and provide a welcoming nature for all.

We were very pleased with the approach that was agreed and successfully covered all of the main points in the video that Ticketsolve wanted to cover about this event.

This project was of particular interest to us at Stori Cymru due to our nature of curiosity and wanting to hear other people’s business stories.
